Heritage Portland Stone® Bricks are made from our Heritage Portland Stone® Range.  These bricks are not heated to high temperatures like traditional clay fired bricks so have a fraction of the embodied carbon and along with Albion Stones extensive efforts to reduce our carbon, this makes our Heritage Portland Stone Bricks one of the lowest carbon building materials in the world.

Mother nature has been designing these brick for over 140 million years and every one is unique, telling the story of the life at the bottom of a rich, tropical Jurassic Sea.  Portland Stone is normally supplied as a luxury cladding for the most exclusive properties in London's Mayfair and the City, but we are now offering these beautiful bricks at a more competitive price to make this low carbon product affordable for a much larger range of projects.  They can simply be used in place of typical clay fired bricks with no additional installation training, meaning that you can add this luxurious brick full of natural charm to your next project.  

Heritage Portland Stone Bricks can reduce your embodied carbon of your external walls by over 75% when comparing our EPD figure of 44.7kgCO2/tonne and the published data from The Brick Development Association for a UK Clay Brick at 213kgCO2/tonne.

We have recently supplied a fantastic project in Dorset with our Heritage Portland Stone® Bricks.  We are now supplying some further stones for external paving.  Project is expected to be completed in Spring 2025.
