Private Residence - Dorset

Albion Stone supplied their exquisite Heritage Portland Stone® Bricks for this project. This magnificent property, nestled in the picturesque Dorset countryside amid vast farmland, demanded a natural local material that was both easy to lay and low in embodied carbon. After catching sight of the launch of Albion Stone's Heritage Portland Stone® Bricks on social media at the 2023 Clerkenwell Design Show, LTS Architects and the client were convinced it was the perfect fit for the project.
The brickwork commenced shortly after Christmas 2023, and despite some rain delays, the first floor and an external wall were erected swiftly. The builders are highly satisfied with the brick's quality and ease of installation. The client is thrilled with the diverse aesthetic these bricks impart to their stunning property.
Albion Stone have supplied a total of 20,000 bricks for this project and the landscaping which includes Heritage Portland Stone Paving is to be completed early 2025.
